Stamping Inks

Our stamping inks Lenizett ™ and Paradol ™ have been developed especially for printing on polystyrene, Styropor®, EPS. As a stamping ink, this ink has special characteristics that greatly affect the behavior on the marking machine (e.g. roll punch) and the print itself on polystyrene afterwards.

On the roller stamp, our stamping ink easily penetrates into the paint roller (Porelon ™ or foam) and is being held there properly. When rolling up or stamping, the stamping ink is being transferred brilliantly from the paint roller to the different types of printing rolls. On the types of pressure rollers, the stamping ink remains flat and results in a smooth coverage even after the transfer to polystyrene, Styrofoam® or EPS. Since polystyrene, Styropor® or EPS have a challenging surface and conventional stamping inks tend to retract into the capillaries, we have adjusted our Lenitzett ™ and Paradol ™ to avoid this very effect. As a result, the printed image is more defined and the stamping ink remains on the surface, where it covers much better than conventional inks do.

The drying time on the EPS, Styrofoam and polystyrene surface takes about 30 seconds at 21 ° room temperature and a normal order quantity. On Polycarbonate it takes 150 seconds, on metal 90 seconds, on high gloss coated cardboards 45 seconds and on matt painted cardboard about 5 seconds. Viscosity: <4 mPa*s (ISO-Cup Nr.3: 27s) To adjust the drying times to your needs, you have got the opportunity to purchase drying accelerators or drying retarders.

Both stamping inks, Lenizett ™ and Paradol ™, can be used for futher non-absorbent substrates as well, despite their optimization for roll punches and polystyrene (Styropor®, EPS).
